Our Story

Made slowly, on purpose.

Cassore started in a single-room studio with one goldsmith, one bench, and a conviction that jewellery didn't need to be either disposable or precious-to-the-point-of-untouchable.

2019 — Present

From one bench to a small studio

What began as a single goldsmith working nights and weekends has grown into a small studio of three — but the process hasn't changed. Every piece is still cast, set and polished by hand, in small batches, using only recycled gold.

We turned down faster growth more than once because it would have meant giving up the part of the work that matters most to us: knowing exactly whose hands touched every piece before it reaches yours.

What We Believe

Three things we won't compromise on

Material

Recycled gold, always

Every gram of gold we use is reclaimed and re-refined — no new mining, no exceptions. It costs us more. We think it's worth it.

Process

Made to order

We don't hold warehouse stock. Each piece is cast once it's ordered, which means a little more waiting, and a lot less waste.

Longevity

Built to be repaired

Every Cassore piece can be resized, restrung or refinished by our studio for as long as you own it — free within the first year.

"We'd rather make four hundred pieces we're proud of than four thousand we're not."
— Founder, Cassore
